Busy Weekend

We accomplished a lot this weekend. We moved Savannah into her own room. Savannah picked out a pretty blue color for her new room. Allen painted her room and painted the kids bathroom (finally after 5 years). I helped a little with the painting but he did all the cutting in which is the hard part. He also took down the twin beds in the girls room and moved them and then reset them up as bunk beds in Savannah's new room. Then he drove to my parents house, and picked up the queen bed which they had been storing for us for the past year and 1/2 and set that up in Addy's room. The Majority of this happened on Saturday. The rooms look great and both girls are happy. The boys will remain together in their room. Thomas has been sleeping in that room since Joseph was about 8wks old, we just finally moved all of his clothes in there this weekend.

On Friday night we attended a Free Friday night Concert. We picked up a pizza on the way, brought a few games to play and enjoyed music. We are going to do this again very soon, it was a lot of fun. Joseph danced and danced. The other 3 played washers and bean bag toss, and also threw the fribee around.

Sunday night I ended up taking Addy, Savannah and Thomas to the Tbones game, we met my parents there. Allen wasn't feeling well Sunday afternoon so he stayed home with Joseph. The kids had fun, but it was a lot hotter than we had anticipated and after a long, busy weekend the kids just were not in the mood, so we left about 1/2 way through the game. Before we left we all enjoyed hotdogs and the kids got cotton candy. We all received free Tbones hats and the kids were able to get their picture taken with the Culvers Ice Cream character and the Tbones mascot Sizzle.

I hear you, we were at the royals on sunday. I don't remember them saying it was going to be that hot! Unfortunately, my kids were NOT interested in the game, but were VERY interested in running the bases that occurs at the END of the game. After an hour of waiting in line to run the bases, run we did! It was pretty cool, even if I was sweating up a storm!
