Joseph at 5 months

Some of you received these pictures of Joseph yesterday. Yesterday Joseph turned 5months old. I can hardly believe it. He is sitting up so well, eating solids well, and rolling over from time to time. He is very, very vocal. I think he is going to be an early talker. Recently he has been very curious about Midnight.
I think he has one of the biggest, best smiles ever.

Pumpkin Patch

This weekend was another girl scout event at a different Pumpkin Patch.

The kids had so much fun, going through the patch to find the perfect pumpkin.
I took the kids on a wagon ride, while Allen and Joseph stayed behind. Allen is very allergic to Hay and after that ride, Thomas had quite a bit of trouble with his allergies too, but he still had a good time.
This was another area that all the kids had a lot of fun at also.
I couldn't resist taking pictures of the kids in this grouping of Mums.

Thomas and his new bike

Thomas won't turn 3 until October 19th, but this weekend he received an early Birthday gift from Grandma and Grandpa Irwin. It is a Schwinn Roadster trike. This is the perfect for Thomas, and we were thrilled to see him actually pedaling. This is the first bike that he has really been able to pedal. Here you see Thomas high fiving Grandpa, because he was so excited.

Here is our crew out in the Cul-de-sac. Both girls loved riding the new bike too. Thomas loves riding in the girls jeep too, and there is Joseph in his little walker. He absolutely loves being outside, and he was keeping up with the kids in his little walker.

Friday night Camp Out

Well, its Friday... normally my night to work, but this weekend I am working on Saturday night. We decided that tonight we would set the tent up in the living room and Allen and the kids will sleep in the tent. Joseph and I will sleep upstairs in a bed. I am not a big fan of sleeping on the floor.

We were going to do smores in the microwave,but we are going to a pumpkin patch tomorrow afternoon and will have smores there, so instead we just had snacky foods. I took the above picture Allen and the kids while they were watching the movie Spy kids. Allen has a big fan set up in front of the tent so they are all nice a cool in there. For at least the past 3 years I have worked at least one weekend night, normally Fridays. It has become a tradition that the kids all get to sleep with Daddy in the living room or basement, sometimes in our room and stay up late and watch movies. Things have been a litter harder with Joseph this summer, but they have still managed. This is something that my kids look forward to every week, they never tire of it. In fact they love it so much that a lot of times on Saturdays, the girls sleep downstairs with Allen again, and Thomas sleeps with me in our room. Joseph we try and have sleep in the crib, but he still ends up with us occasionally.
Here is another pic I took of him today, practicing sitting up. Oh and he has learned to roll over to. Such a big boy.

Trying on Halloween Costumes

Addy is going to be a witch this year, her costume is almost complete, but she wants to dye her hair and carry a broom stick. Savannah is a pirate, but she still needs tights and some boots. She doesn't like her eye patch, but I am going to still push for it, because its so cute.
Thomas is going to be a pirate as well, not sure what clothes he will wear under his vest and hat. I am just happy we found something he likes dressing up as.
Joseph.... stay tuned. We are still unsure of what he will be.

Sitting up

In the past couple of days, Joseph has really been getting stronger and can sit for brief moments without us holding him up. It won't be long before he is sitting like this every day playing with Thomas.
What a big boy, you can see Thomas in the background, he was in the middle of his speech therapy, but I had to snap a couple pics of Joseph because he was doing so good.

Big Brother is proud of Joseph too.
